Run Legend: Sleepy Hollow

Last Saturday, August 11th, Bob, Erik, Sharre and Gail ran in a 10 mile "race" at Sleepy Hollow. For Bob, Erik and Sharre this was the 3rd and final in the serious series trail races that they have run in this year. The first was in Pinckney called Roadends 1/2 & Full Marathon (they ran the 1/2, which is 13.1 miles) on April 29th, the next was Flirt With Dirt in Novi on June 9th in Novi (this was was a 6.1 miler), (my cousin Andy ran the first two also, but ended up punking out to hang out with his buddies at Burt Lake for the last race... he missed out, they all got a "Serious Series" pint beer glass) and this very last was the Legend at Sleepy Hollow State Park, which was a 10 miler. They all did a great job, even though Bob and Erik took the wrong path just after the 5 mile marker. Bob ran a 9.01 mile/minute and finished at 1:30.01.82, only 7 minutes behind his goal. As for me, I spectated... I don't like running that much :)
